In order to promote the development of young children, Early Interventionists are increasingly strengthening their partnerships with families, caregivers and early childhood professionals to support and enhance their skills, knowledge, interactions and interventions. Coaching and collaborative consultation are approaches that are supported by research in promoting strong partnerships that benefit the child’s development and participation in meaningful, everyday activities.
