Through guided discussion and practical examples, the session will address common myths, clarify federal guidance, and emphasize that AT is a shared responsibility across disciplines. Participants will learn about the wide range of assistive technology devices available for short-term loan, who is eligible to borrow equipment, and how to access the lending library. The session will also highlight additional assistive technology services and resources available throughout Pennsylvania to support children with disabilities, educators, service providers, and families. TechOWL serves as Pennsylvania’s federally designated Assistive Technology Act Program and operates the PA Assistive Technology Lending Library, helping Pennsylvanians discover and access technology that promotes independence, participation, and success.
