On April 15th, a live virtual kick-off for the 2026 PA One Book, The Great Cookie Kerfuffle, written by Jessica Shaw and illustrated by Pauline Gregory, took place. The Pennsylvania One Book initiative is a valuable program that highlights the importance of early literacy development and the significance of reading early and often to children. Activities aligned with the PA Early Learning Standards that support The Great Cookie Kerfuffle are also available, as well as archived activity guides from past PA One Book programs.
