Early Intervention Technical Assistance Portal

Healthy Minds @ Work

The Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) has started a new initiative to assist Early Intervention professionals. OCDEL appreciates the professionals who are supporting the children and families in the Commonwealth while also learning to cope with their own personal trauma from the global pandemic event. We know children are coming into early childhood settings with unique challenges and needs. As OCDEL works to develop and implement strategies to support the children, we also recognize the caring, committed adults need support as well.

Join your colleagues around Pennsylvania to develop (within as little as 5 minutes a day) a meditation habit backed by decades of scientific research that sticks. The Healthy Minds Program is an easy-to-use guide for your journey to greater well-being. With a combination of podcast-style lessons and both seated and active meditations, you’ll learn what the science says about the brain and practice skills based on these insights to foster a healthier, happier you.
